Job Description Purpose: To perform tasks that support the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated production systems. Responsibilities: - Perform automation-related duties with minimum supervision. - Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance on robots, automated equipment, sensors, conveyors, and related control systems. - Assist employees in all departments and facilities with troubleshooting automation issues. - Keep automation work areas, robots, and peripheral equipment neat and orderly. - Demonstrate willingness to receive training and progress in the automation/controls field. - Obtain parts in times of emergency to minimize downtime. - Take control of equipment when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of automated machinery. - Perform all other duties as assigned.
