Position Summary The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing and executing the quality control program for asphalt production and paving operations within the Mid‑West Central Region. This role ensures compliance with DOT specifications, project requirements, and company quality standards through effective testing, inspection, documentation, and corrective action. The Quality Control Manager works closely with operations, plant personnel, project teams, and inspectors to deliver consistent, high‑quality materials and workmanship. Main Responsibilities: Quality Control Execution: - Implement and maintain quality control procedures in accordance with DOT, project, and company requirements - Ensure proper sampling, testing, and inspection of asphalt materials and paving operations - Review test results daily and communicate issues, trends, or non‑compliance to Operations and QC leadership - Initiate and track corrective actions for materials, production, or field placement issues Materials & Testing Oversight: - Manage asphalt mix designs, approvals, and adjustments under the direction of the QC Director - Oversee field and plant testing, including density, gradation, bind...
