Overview This position is located in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. Ft Eisenhower is adjacent to Augusta, GA famous for its major attraction, The Masters Golf Tournament. Ft Eisenhower has a moderate year-round climate and offers close proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains. Responsibilities: As a Clinical/Ambulatory Nurse you will: Performs independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, and facilitates carecoordination through a multidisciplinary approach. Establishes priorities for patient care and evaluates patients’ progress toward high-level wellness. Provides patient education as an integralpart of the services offered. Acts as relief nurse, triages and screens walk-in patients to assess the severity of the patient's condition and the need for provider intervention. Communicates with providers regarding determinations and situations, documents events appropriately. Screens patient charts to assess the medical history and determine health care needs.
