Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT Department: Cardiology: Location: Vancouver, BC: Compensation: $25.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our Cardiology Service. Our Registered Veterinary Technologists in our hospital have an interesting and varied workload, managing a wide variety of cases, offering a stimulating and challenging experience. This means that besides using all of your basic technical skills, you will apply skills not commonly used in general practice. This includes: in-house blood-typing and cross-matching, administering blood transfusions, maintaining a variety of CRIs via different modalities and specialized training with our advanced imaging equipment (MRI, CT, and Fluoroscopy). Although previous experience in an emergency or in a specialty setting is an asset, it is not a requirement. Recent RVT Grads who are motivated and confident in their abilities and possess above-average technical experience are encouraged to apply.
