Job Description The Procurement Senior Specialist is a professional with significant experience sourcing and negotiating the supply of goods and services including but not limited to Electronics, Metals, Plastics, Equipment, Packaging, and other direct materials and indirect services necessary to support one or more manufacturing locations. The successful candidate is responsible to operate in a matrix environment, serving as the procurement (sourcing and negotiation) point of contact for one or more manufacturing sites, as well as the development of global category sourcing strategy. This position works with the site and regional manufacturing leadership to understand key priorities, support critical negotiations, manage strategic vendors, and achieve critical key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement business. The role reports as part of the Technology Solutions team within Animal Health Global Supplier Management (AH-GSM) and may from time to time manage one or more contract employees (interns, short-term assignments).
