Job description

As a Cook Wok, you will be responsible for preparing and wok-cooking specified menu items. Position: Hourly, Full-Time: Location: Gold Strike Casino SUPERVISION: - Follow the recipe and/or product directions for preparing and wok-cooking all specified menu items, work with a sense of urgency to meet time goals while adhering to recipe standards, and display attention to detail and food presentation. - Taste the product, follow the menu, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment. - Follow food safety regulations and standards to include temperature/time tracking for food and equipment. - Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment. - Identify and inform the Chef regarding any problems at the station. - Maintain proper stocking of assigned stations. - Assist Chef in menu preparation, service, and breakdown of function. - Capable of working in public on live stations and maintaining superior appearance standards. - Perform other job-related duties as requested. - None MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or equivalent - Work varied shifts, including weekends and holi...
