Position Summary Hopkins | Lacy, the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, (MEP) Division of Branch, is searching for experienced Service Technicians. Service Technicians will inspect, test and perform preventative maintenance and most repairs on mechanical systems including air cooled chillers, boilers, and all other HVAC equipment types. They will work under minimal direction. The Service Technician must be able to execute personal judgement in analyzing a situation and select appropriate course of action/determine when assistance is required. We are hiring experienced Service Technicians of all levels! Service technicians with electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and/or HVAC experience are encouraged to apply! Duties/Responsibilities: Duties/Responsibilities Cont. - Inspect and diagnose mechanical air conditioning systems using a variety of tools and instruments. - Perform specified preventative maintenance including belt-adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment, filter replacement, etc. - Perform prescribed non-destructive tests; collect and deliver samples for analysis. - Perform basic repairs of mechanical equipment. - Communicate with customer on the work performed a...
