Job Description: Position Objective The Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure intended design and performance standards are met. This position supports continuous operations while adhering to strict Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Occupational Safety requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: - Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including greasing, oiling, inspection, and adjustments. - Inspect and maintain bearings, oil and fluid levels, chain and belt tension, and equipment condition. - Examine sprockets, pins, gears, shears, keepers, guards, brackets, rollers, and welds for wear or damage. - Conduct basic operational maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues. Plant Operations Knowledge: - Maintain working knowledge of the entire plant operation, including unloading, processing, and packaging of products. - Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal downtime.
