JOB DESCRIPTION: Experienced Assistant Facility Manger to oversee all building related activities. Works with little to no supervision. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. Well-Versed in technical/engineering operations and Facilities best practices. Has appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. May work with Senior Facility Manager in the development and administration of the Property Plan and Budget, subject to the approval of the Regional Facilities Manager and Account Management team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Oversee facilities and maintenance contracts/vendors and staff to ensure continuous service to client. Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of contract staff including janitorial, maintenance, security, food service and mail / office services. Participates in the selection and development of contract services and daily monitoring of vendor performance. Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and structural modifications as needed.
