Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9) Department/Organization: 506152 - Compensation: Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary: The Compensation Analyst II administers staff compensation and classification programs and projects for the University under limited supervision. Ensures compliance local, state(s), and federal laws independently. Analyzes and evaluates positions for appropriate titles, paygrades, and organizational hierarchy to maintain external competitiveness and internal consistency. Benchmarks University staff positions. Compiles information for salary surveys. Consults with departments on classification, compensation practices, promotions, and issues related to pay under limited supervision. Provides guidance to HR Business Partners. Provides guidance and training to entry-level Analysts and HR Business Partners. Additional Department Summary: The University of Alabama is embarking to transition the on-premises finance and HCM ERP systems to a modern cloud platform.
