Position Overview: Louisiana First News in Baton Rouge is seeking a motivated college student to join our Engineering Department for an internship at FOX 44, NBC 33, CW 21, and ZTV. This is a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience in the technical side of broadcast television—from maintaining equipment to supporting live production environments. Qualifications: - Basics of broadcast signal flow and studio operations - Hands-on experience with audio/video routing, control systems, and IT infrastructure - Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of station wide equipment - How technical teams support daily newscasts and special broadcasts - Safety and compliance procedures in a professional broadcast facility - Enrolled in a college or university program (junior, senior, or graduate level preferred) - Majoring in Engineering, Broadcast Technology, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field - Interest in broadcast systems, electronics, or IT - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills - Must be able to receive academic credit for the internship - Dependable transportation and flexible availability Additional Information: This is an unpaid internship and m...
