RK&K is currently hiring a talented, eager, team-oriented Utility Technician to join our Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) team in the NCDOT Division 4 area to work on some of the region’s most exciting projects! Essential Functions: The Utility Technician will be responsible for performing inspection of Utilities By Others (UBO) relocation and assisting with other duties in the Division Utility office. This is for a full-time position with an indeterminate duration of at least 12 months. This position will be based in the Wilson Division office. It will require a combination of in-person office work and field work. Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of combined experience with NCDOT construction inspection and/or private sector utility construction. - Candidates must also be trustworthy, responsible, dependable, and willing to work independently as well as part of a team.
