Job DetailsJob Location: Arbor Acres Winston Salem - Winston Salem, NC 27104Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.25 - $22.25Job Shift: 7a - 3p FT Every Other WkndThe Medication Technician/CNA provides routine daily medications both prescription and nonprescription to patients whose condition and drug regimen are stable, as well as assisting the resident in performing activities of daily living and other related duties in the department. Job Duties: Administer medication using the 6 rights of medication administration- Right medication, Right resident, Right dose, Right route, Right time and Right documentation. Monitor for changes in the residents vital signs, behavior or any adverse reactions from medications- if any must report to the charge nurse. Chart all prescription and nonprescription medications administered in the electronic medical record (EMAR and ETAR) after you administer them. Follow all facility standards and regulations to ensure the safety of all residents and staff Assist the nursing staff in providing care to geriatric patients using knowledge of and techniques for dealing with problems associated with aging.
