Job description

Introduction Within ASML, the EUV Source Mechatronics team focuses on the dynamic performance of optical elements in the EUV source module. As an intern in this department you contribute to improving how vibration effects from liquid cooling flows are represented in early design stages. These vibrations can impact system performance, so accurate and efficient modelling methods are essential. This internship gives you the opportunity to combine theory, modelling, and experimental validation. You will work in an innovative environment where your research directly supports system performance improvements. Your assignment: In this internship you will research and improve methods used to represent flow-induced disturbance forces in structural dynamics models. You will explore ways to simplify early-stage modelling while maintaining sufficient accuracy for performance prediction. Your findings will help define improved ways of working for future designs. Your main responsibilities will be: Study existing methods used to tune flow-induced forces within ASML and in literature Analyze limitations of current modelling approaches in early design phases Propose improved methods for representin...
