We are seeking expressions of interest for a Community Justice Investment and Sponsorship Team Leader to lead key elements of community justice strategic investment, third‑sector funding oversight and sponsorship responsibility for our key delivery bodies. This is a pivotal role at the centre of our strategy development, financial planning and decision making, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery, in the short, medium and longer term. The community justice budget comprises around £168m and is a significant ministerial priority – ensuring that funding is invested well and aligned to ministerial priorities in relation to the prison population is one of our top priorities. This is therefore an excellent development opportunity for colleagues with strong strategic and financial awareness, policy experience, relationship‑management skills and an interest in supporting community justice, the third sector and our sponsored bodies through a period of significant change.
