Position Purpose: CDL driver associates, accompanied by driver helper, are responsible for driving vehicles such as flatbed trucks, tractors with flatbed trailers, box trucks over 26,000 lbs. gross weight for the purpose of completing customer deliveries to their homes or businesses. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting merchandise in order to serve our customers. Associates will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leaders and associates. Associates will also be expected to systemically update orders via a handheld device. Key Responsibilities: - 80% Driving and delivering product to our customers - Drive a CDL vehicle (flatbed trucks, tractors with flatbed trailers, box trucks over 26,000 lbs. gross weight) on a local route; Communicate delivery updates to customers and stores; Load the truck in an efficient manner for unload and confirm customer orders; Climb in and out of delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day; Perform overtime as required to accomplish del...
