Manufacturing Engineer II (Cleared) – Tucson, AZ Title: Manufacturing Engineer II (Production / Automation) – Cleared Location: Tucson, AZ: Clearance: Active Secret or ability to obtain Overview: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support high-volume production and automation initiatives for advanced defense systems. This role is critical to scaling manufacturing operations and improving efficiency. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Support production line setup and process development - Identify and implement process improvements (Lean / Six Sigma) - Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability - Troubleshoot production issues and improve throughput - Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) - 3–7 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience - Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-volume manufacturing preferred - Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience a plus - Active Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain
