Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting

Job description

The Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting oversees all enterprise-wide accounting operations and financial reporting activities. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Controller, this role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial statements while leading the end to end financial data lifecycle. The Director is responsible for managing accounting policies, regulatory reporting, financial close processes, and internal controls, while driving operational efficiency and supporting strategic decision making through high quality financial insights. This role partners closely with cross functional leaders to maintain strong governance, optimize reporting capabilities, and support the organization's financial health and long term objectives. - Leads the preparation, review, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SAP, while managing the reporting calendar to ensure timely, accurate, and transparent communication with internal stakeholders, regulators, and auditors. - Provides technical and regulatory interpretation for complex accounting issues, ensuring clarity and compliance across the enterprise. - U...
