You'll play a key role in building a scalable, world-class big data platform that processes internet scale volumes of data. In this position, you'll work closely with various teams to develop advanced cloud services and environments for the SIA Data Platform. As a Principal Big Data Engineer, you will be: - Designing and implementing scalable solutions powered by Akamai's Cloud Platform - Developing and maintaining data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and analyzing data - Creating new features from scratch, while enhancing and optimizing existing ones - Implementing Unit and Integration Tests - Participating in an On Call Rotation - Collaborating with various Stakeholders, such as Data Science, SecOps, and QA Do what you love...
