Job description

Job Summary: To perform essential functions of a Certified Weld Inspector on selected project(s) for SPC. These functions include, but are not limited to, the review of weld maps, welder certifications, weld logs, and continuity logs, as well as assisting with onsite visual verification as necessary. This position can also include other project quality-related activities as needed for the projects within the Specialist’s portfolio. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Manager QA/QC Validators (if any) assigned to the project, including managing the manpower required for this. - Oversee, from a high level, the quality of production from the welders assigned to the project and ensure that the weld procedures are adhered to. - Assist the team in developing and/or maintaining the site-specific QA/QC Manual, where required. - Follow SPC’s standard procedures to create job-specific weld logs and naming conventions for the weld maps and ensure that all specifications/codes/standards/contract documents are met. - Assist project teams in the coordination of the drawing/iso’s, Weld Maps. - Assist SPC in maintaining a certification/calibration/continuity log for the assigned project, working w...
