Employment Type: Part time Shift: Weekend Shift Description: Trinity Health Oakland Hospital Acute Care Physical Therapist, Flexible Schedule Location: Pontiac, MI Schedule: PRN- Non-benefitted, Contingent Pay rate: $41.75+ (rate increase based on experience) POSITION PURPOSE: Implements the evaluation and treatment of medically disabled patients using established procedures. Provides education to patients and family to deal with present disabilities or prevent further disabilities. Provides consultation to health care personnel and public in matters related to physical therapy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Evaluates patients' physical and functional status including muscular strength motor function, reflex and ambulation skills. 2. Observes and interviews patients, reviews medical histories and administers detailed sensory tests, manual muscle tests, range of motion exams and other evaluation techniques. 3. Establishes short and long term therapy goals and, based on evaluation, formulates treatment plans consistent with goals. 4.
