Job DetailsJob Location: Schenectady-Bigelow - Schenectady, NY 12304Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: None Teacher Aide Retention Bonus - $1,500 (paid in 2 parts 1/2 at 90 days and 1/2 at a year) (full time only qualifies) Available shifts - Monday - Friday - no weekends As a Preschool Teacher Aide, you will work with teachers in the management of a preschool classroom by providing quality care to ages 3-5 following Agency philosophy, program performance standards and curriculum guidelines. You will report to the Preschool Special Education Teacher and you will work onsite. Responsibilities: Use daily routines and observations to meet the strengths and needs of children Work as a team member to facilitate the programs curriculum, procedures and philosophy. Assist in the implementation of weekly program plans. Help establish a safe environment and a positive emotional tone that is supportive of the individual childs feelings by interacting with them in a supportive way.
