The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek. Job Type: Unclassified Department: Flood Control District About the Position: As a General Maintenance Worker, you will work outdoors year-round in Arizona’s desert environment, playing a hands-on role in building and maintaining the flood control structures that protect our communities. Through skilled and unskilled construction and maintenance work, you directly support public safety while helping preserve the natural landscape. Beyond flood protection, the Flood Control District maintains multi-use facilities, including hiking trails, bike paths, and open spaces, that enhance the quality of life across Maricopa County.
