EHS Specialist

Job description

Position Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support and enhance our EHS programs across operations. This role focuses heavily on safety and requires a strong working knowledge of both 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) and 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) standards, along with proven experience delivering effective safety training. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on safety professional who can ensure regulatory compliance, promote a culture of safety, and engage employees at all levels. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations, particularly with regard to OSHA standards (both 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926) - Serve as the lead safety trainer for the organization, developing and delivering safety training programs such as fall protection, ladder safety, PPE, HazCom, electrical qualified, lockout authorized, job hazard assessments, and defensive driving - Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety policies, procedures, programs, and training - Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and worksite job hazard analyses - Investigate...
