Under general supervision, the role of the mission-based research team lead is to facilitate and motivate near-term productivity, ensuring that goals are met and accomplishments recognized; however, it is also incumbent on the team lead to work with team members to accommodate/adjust to changing priorities and plan for sustained productivity. The team lead has an extremely important role in motivating the team and ensuring their success. The team lead will assess the team and individual performance. Participate in hiring and administrative action plans. - Lead a team of Research department staff on a daily basis to include establishing goals, priorities and expected performance level of the team - Lead and deploy team for efficiency to ensure goals are met or exceeded - Ensure safety practices & protocols are followed - Manage the start up and oversight of clinical research projects as well as monitoring budget, researches, and recommends and purchases equipment - Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to the research team - Manage project resource needs such as enrolling patients, collecting biospecimens, protocol review, and regulatory forms - Maintains research databases to...
