Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lives the Owens Corning Safety Stand and meets all safety requirements. Utilizes all LTT principles as required. Safety is a condition of employment. - Participates in the safety, autonomous maintenance, TPM and housekeeping programs as established within the plant; including but not limited to Focused Improvement Events, Safety Committee, etc. - Performs job tasks to reduce environmental impact and adheres to the environmental regulations and recycling procedures for waste disposal. - Complies with all plant rules and safety regulations. - Communicates safety concerns and/or equipment problems/abnormalities to appropriate personnel. - Notify your Front Line Leader immediately of all injuries, near misses, or first aid. - Understands all regulations for safety harness protection - Understands lock-out/tag-out procedures for energy sources. Can identify energy sources for each machine and correctly de-energize the machine for maintenance procedures - Work alone or assist maintenance personnel of higher classification in the disassembly of various types of plant machinery.
