Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity in the Mass Spectrometry Center within Regulatory Sciences for a Mass Spectrometry Research Scientist. The selected candidate will lead research projects focusing on the application of mass spectrometry to aid in the identification of metabolites in crop health and biologicals products. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN. What You’ll Do: The successful candidate will serve as the lead scientist to investigate and implement mass spectrometry approaches to aid in metabolite identification and characterization, including small-molecule and biologicals samples using LC-MS/MS and high-resolution mass spectrometry. Work closely across the Mass Spectrometry Center of Expertise (MSCOE) team to learn the operation, performance features, and limitations of the ionization techniques and high-resolution mass spectrometers employed within the MSCOE. Partner with biologicals and crop protection experts in Corteva regulatory, biologicals, and crop health research and development (CHR&D) to understand their research problems and to leverage mass spectrometry tools to improve our ability to develop biologicals and pipeline chemistries.
