Production Scheduler

The Opportunity The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining weekly production to ensure crane builds stay within scope of work and timelines. The Role: - Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly production schedule as well as an overarching schedule for complete crane build backlog - Works closely with parts team to ensure BOM are correct and ready for production - Track the progress of production - Ensuring production team meets set timelines determined by sales & engineering - Work with vendors and third party contractors to maintain timeframes and workflow - Daily communication with production team on timeframes and upcoming projects (Responsible for organizing a daily production scheduling meeting) - Support continuous improvement of procedures and systems - Ensure the productivity of crane install employees - Ensure that safety rules and health and safety standards are met - Works with the sales, planning & engineering team to advise status of builds and updates The Candidate: Education: College Diploma pertaining to production or relevant experience Work Experience: 3 to 5 years in a production environment Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Micr...
