Description Job Summary: Support Insulators in installing and maintaining insulation on various structures and equipment. Assist with material preparation, workspace setup, and ensuring projects proceed safely and efficiently. Material Preparation: - Gather and prepare insulation materials. - Cut and shape materials as needed. Workspace Preparation: - Set up equipment and prepare surfaces for insulation. - Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment to access work areas. Installation Assistance: - Hold insulation materials in place while Insulators secure them with staples, tape, or other fasteners. - Assist Insulators in applying insulation materials to pipes, ductwork, boilers, tanks, and other structures. Safety Compliance: - Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. - Maintain a clean and safe work area. Cleanup and Maintenance: - Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors. - Work collaboratively with other Insulator Helpers and Insulators to complete projects on schedule.
