Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist for Maternity Leave coverage. Hourly Rate Range: $45.00–$60.00 per hour - 2 OT position needed - Elementary students Responsibilities would include: - Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans. - Provide direct occupational therapy services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the learning environment. - Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to improve student accessibility. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Maryland State Department of Education and IDEA guidelines. - Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. - Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to support student independence.
