As a Software Engineering Automated Test Intern at Cohu, you’ll be part of our Software System Testing and Quality Assurance (SQA) team, helping build and improve automated software tests used across our product environment. You’ll work with tool simulators that model Cohu’s test handlers and assist in ensuring our software meets high quality standards. This is a great opportunity for college students who want hands‑on experience in software testing, automation, and working with real engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: - Help develop and maintain automated test scripts for Cohu’s test handler simulators. - Collaborate with engineers to understand system requirements and testing goals. - Assist in debugging and analyzing software behavior. - Document test results and contribute to discussions on software quality improvements.
