The Florida Veterinary Referral Center (FVRC) in Estero, FL is hiring part-time or full-time Veterinary Assistants to join our outstanding Emergency team! Qualifications: - General cleaning of the hospital includes but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry, window cleaning, emptying trash, and bathroom cleaning. Keep hospital supplies well stocked. - Set up and keep kennels sanitary, orderly, and free of odors. Feed, bathe, restrain, administer medications to patients, and perform TPRs as directed, with indirect supervision from Veterinary Technicians. - Assist with restraint for radiographs and ultrasounds, cleaning and set up of surgical suites, and c ross training for front office receptionist duties. Assist clients as needed with their pets in the hospital or out to the client’s car. - Learn and be able to demonstrate progress/proficiency throughout the year on FVRC Level Skills, hospital policies, medication calculation...
