Description The Director of Patient Care is a registered professional nurse who ensures the quality of patient care in the home. The primary function is for the overall administration of the clinical departments and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity for the Assigned Agency. Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring Agency. Essential Functions: - Promote /exemplify the Company's mission, vision, and values at all times. - Direct and coordinate clinical departments and branches; assume responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with State and federal regulations. (Conditions of Participation) - Participate in activities relevant to professional services, including development of qualifications and assignment of Agency personnel for assigned agencies. - Supervise and provide direction to subordinates, in an effort to ensure quality, compliance with Plan of Care and assessment and reassessment of patient's needs and continuity of services by appropriate health care personnel.
