Job description
Overview The Server Administrator, under the supervision of the Senior Director of Information Services, is responsible for the expert design, implementation, and advanced administration of the organization's critical, multi-platform server infrastructure, including Dell/HP hardware, Windows and Linux operating systems, and diverse virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V). This pivotal role ensures the continuous, secure operation and lifecycle management of core enterprise services—specifically Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects(GPOs), DNS, and DHCP—while developing and routinely testing robust Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) strategies. The Administrator provides Tier 3 support for server and enterprise messaging systems (including Microsoft Exchange/cloud solutions), maintains strict HIPAA and security compliance, and requires mandatory on-site attendance.
