Are you passionate about connecting with and supporting others in your community? Wiltshire Council is looking for a dedicated Unpaid Carers’ Champion to join our network in Wiltshire. This voluntary role is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of unpaid carers—those who care for family members, friends, or neighbours without financial compensation. Your Mission: As a Carers’ Champion, your main goal will be to: - Support unpaid carers (those 18+) in finding and accessing the information and services they need, all meetings will take place in community settings or other public places - Help carers feel connected , valued, and supported in their role - Enable people to live at home for longer by strengthening the support available to carers - Champion carers’ voices in your local area What You’ll Do: This role is flexible and can be shaped by you.
