Repair Lead Man

Job description

The Repair Lead Man is responsible for performing complete operation checkout, modification, disassembly, repair, reassembly, test calibration, diagnosis, and correction of problems. Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return. Sets up necessary repair and test facilities. Based in Fort Worth, Texas the Repair Lead Man will report directly to the Repair Supervisor. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Organize all work activities with assigned crew. - Conducts toolbox safety meetings. - Responsible for all crew training. - Assure that the crew follows safe work practices. - Responsible for keeping Repair Supervisor informed on all pertinent employee issues. - Communicates assigned job goals from the Repair Supervisor to the crew. - Responsible for achieving all assigned job goals. - Responsible for the safe and efficient work of all assigned crews. - Effectively communicate with other Lead Men to accomplish the plan objectives. - Maintains an ongoing parts shortage list for assigned jobs and works with Repair Supervisor. - Creates and maintains a “To Be Done "list for all assigned jobs.
