Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $53,500 - Midpoint: $66,900 (Salaried E8) Department/Organization: 214231 - Civil Const and Env Engineering Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary: The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee. Additional Department Summary: The Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering Department at The University of Alabama is seeking a candidate for a Postdoctoral fellow position. This position is available to individuals with research interests and expertise in experimental hydraulics and turbulence measurements/theory, and data analysis. Successful candidates will hold a terminal degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and demonstrate a record of academic achievement in research, including peer reviewed manuscripts in topics related to experimental hydraulics and turbulence.
