Quality Control Inspector, Ship Repair

Job description

Join our team as a Mechanical/Pipe Quality Control Inspector, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our systems meet the highest standards. You'll inspect mechanical and piping installations for compliance with specifications, codes, and ISO standards, while supporting production teams in delivering quality work the first time. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, managing documentation for project turnover, and driving continuous improvement through Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs). Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
