Description JOB SUMMARY: Practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice as well as within a patient and family centered care model and the vision and values of the Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Medical Imaging department, the position acts as a member of an integrated team within a high volume medical imaging environment by performing duties such as transporting patients to and from required areas using stretchers and wheelchairs, assisting technical and nursing staff with the lifting and transferring of patients, maintaining supplies for various carts, cupboards, trays, rooms and storage areas and cleaning equipment and supply areas, as required. Maintains a clean and safe work environment for the designated area. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Grade 12 and two (2) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Ability to organize work.Ability to operate related equipment.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.The hours of work including days off and...
