We Energies , a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Vehicle & Equipment Specialist in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by Local 2150. Job Summary: Develop vehicle and equipment specifications and write purchase requisitions for all of WE vehicles and equipment to be acquired. Job duties include monitoring the fleet capital budget, all typing associated with specifications, requisitions, receipting, and disposal of retired equipment. Job Responsibilities: - Reviews existing specifications with user groups and Fleet maintenance personnel and vendors. - Identifies needed vehicle and equipment standard updates to support WE changing needs. - Reviews, prepares, re-types, files, and maintains specifications. - Prepares all in-service forms. - As needed, attends all equipment shows for new products and technologies throughout the U.S. - Coordinates vendor demonstrations. - Routes all requisitions to appropriate personnel. - Confers with all WE user groups, Fleet & Services management, and vendors. - Attends vehicle standards committee meetings, etc. - Performs all clerical functions to include inputting information on a computer, typing, filing, etc...
