Job description

Title: Data Governance & BI Analyst Division Name: Finance and Planning Department: Enterprise Data and Analytics Job Summary: The Data Governance & BI Analyst will be involved in developing and advancing the University’s enterprise data strategy and governance program. This role collaborates with senior leadership to help shape and track strategic data initiatives while leading the development and implementation of governance practices across the institution. The analyst maintains and enhances the university’s data governance platform, ensures consistent enterprise metadata standards, and partners with data stewards to promote shared definitions, data lineage, and standardized data domains. Serving as a co-chair on the Data Governance Committee, the role also plays a key part in building cross-campus communication and fostering an engaged community of data stakeholders.. This role also will support business intelligence initiatives by applying best practices in data modeling and analytics to support a culture of informed decision-making across the University.
