Indiana Fitness Works is looking for a Mobile Phlebotomist in the cities of Portland, Winchester, Muncie, and Gas City. Mobile Phlebotomist Responsibilities: - Traveling to specified locations to draw blood samples as required. - Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities. - Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs. - Locating suitable veins and extracting blood samples using clean needles. - Cleaning puncture sites and covering them with gauze, cotton-wool balls, or sticking plasters. - Appropriately discarding used needles, syringes, and other items used during venipuncture procedures. Mobile Phlebotomist Requirements: Mobile Phlebotomist will be extracting blood from patients through venipuncture or fingerstick. Travel between 5 Long Term Care Facilities, with locations in Gas City, Portland, Winchester, and Muncie Indiana. Flexible schedule. - High school diploma or GED. - Completion of a postsecondary education phlebotomy program. - Valid driver's license. - Proven experience drawing blood samples. - Excellent organizational skills.
