Description Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Production Manager in maintaining a positive work environment, which provides our employees with an efficient and quality work environment. The Production Supervisor assists in training, product knowledge, line setups, verifies machine centerlines and encourages safe work practices while demonstrated commitment to the companies guiding principles. The position of Production Supervisor directly supervises the entire Production floor workforce during their shift. Responsibilities of the Position: Employee Safety - Communicate safety as the number one priority for employees by encouraging safe work practices and immediately addressing safety concerns - Present weekly Toolbox Talks to all employees to help instill a constant safety-based mindset - Complete accident reports for all safety incidents and perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys method. - Monitor and ensure compliance with daily knife checkout log. - Participate in monthly safety meeting and submit a weekly safety observation to Safety department.
