Job description

Classification Title: Industrial Controls Tech III Classification Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and four years of HVAC, Chiller, and/or electrical experience and two years of appropriate experience in the procedures and methods for installing, repairing, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS), and accessories; appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Job Description: Responds to environmental calls (temperature, mechanical noise, odors, etc.) from customers and troubleshoots associated systems to determine the cause of the problem. Maximizes effective operational control of equipment using the building automation system (BAS). Affected equipment and systems include, but are not limited to, HVAC, electrical, lighting, compressors, domestic and lab water, sump pumps, vacuum, steam, and exhaust. Skillfully use field knowledge combined with the necessary tools, equipment, meters, and computers to install, operate, and/or adjust pneumatic and digital automation and control system controllers with their associated components (sensors, actuators, relays, transducers, variable frequency...
