General Statement of Duties: The controller position is responsible for working closely with the CFO to support the financial responsibilities of the organization. The controller is responsible for daily accounting activities, monthly close transactions, the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The controller is also the point person for required filings throughout the year. The controller will adhere to deadlines and complete tasks with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
