REAL TIME CONSULTING (An RTCo Company)—POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Advanced Test Engineer - Avionics Systems ABOUT THE JOB: We are looking for a skilled test engineer to design and develop rack and stack Automated Test Equipment (ATE) using Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment, adapters, cable sets, test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of aerospace products / Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). REQUIRED SKILLS: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field - 5+ years of experience in test engineering or related role - Strong knowledge of test methodologies, tools, and best practices - Experience with hardware/software integration and working knowledge of general-purpose test equipment - Experience designing ATEs and executing test cases and test scripts - Experience designing and developing Level 1 (on aircraft) / Level 2 (LRU level) end item test equipment and integrating on the hardware to validate the functionality and performance of aerospace products - Experience executing tests and analyzing test results to identify defects and areas for improvement in aerospace products - Familiar with compliance wit...
