Director-Special Events and Marketing

Job description

The Director for Special Events and Marketing will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of events that engage faculty, students, and community constituencies. Acting as lead strategist on all events and marketing initiatives in the Department of Medical Education. The Director will focus on project management, ensuring the successful delivery of marketing campaigns, digital content, and creative materials that support the department's goals; and lead the special events team on departmental, institutional and high profile events. The Director serves as the primary point-of-contact between the Department of Medical Education and the health system Departments of Marketing and Communications and Development/Special Events, ensuring collaboration and consistency across communications and marketing initiatives as well as fundraising and special events. - Strategic Marketing and Event Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to the Medical Education leadership team in developing and executing special events marketing and communication strategies that achieve stakeholder as well as departmental objectives and priorities and align with system priorities. - Projec...
