About the Role As a Profiling Lab Operations Associate at Nomic, you will be supporting large-scale assays that measure complex, blood-based proteins and analytes in cell supernatant and plasma samples from clients. You’ll be an integral part of our efforts to enable scientists to extend lives through accelerated drug discovery. The role will involve substantial benchwork, teamwork and attention to detail. What you will be doing: Perform large-scale assays on cell supernatant and plasma samples from clients in our next-generation proteomics laboratory Set up assay materials: Prepare client samples through the use of centrifuges, shakers, and semi-automated liquid handlers Validate sample quality: Follow protocols on laptops: Perform and validate data entries: Set up and maintain cytometers for routine calibration Run cytometer readouts on profiled client samples Interface with our Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS) Support the manufacturing of critical assay reagents Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.
