Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an Operating Room Scheduler at Nellis Air Force Base. Join our team as a civilian Operating Room Scheduler and give back to our military community and their families. Minimum Requirements: - HS Diploma or equivalent. - Possess a minimum of one-year experience in an operating room environment is required. This includes, but is not limited to, medical administrative support services OR scheduling, OR circulating, OR scrub duties, central sterilization duties or pre-operative nursing. - The work is primarily sedentary in a hospital setting. However, there may be some bending, walking, standing and carrying patient information/OR data and reports. Additional Qualifications: - Requires working knowledge of surgical scheduling/management systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.) to maintain the integrity of surgical templates, identify problems and devise solutions to scheduling conflicts, and independently schedule surgical cases with ease and accuracy. - Working knowledge and skill in utilizing various office computing software, such as the Microsoft Office Suite also required. - Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability...
