Position Summary Odyssey is seeking a top notch Information Technology Specialist to support the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-D). NAMRU-D is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and is Navy Medicine's world class, global aeromedical research leader. Their efforts and innovative products are aligned with operational requirements to solve the naval and joint warfighter challenges of the future. The unit participates in a wide variety of collaborative efforts with military, government, academic and civilian research organizations. ***Contingent upon contract award*** Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to: ***Contingent upon contract award*** - Monitor, open, assign, update and close tickets on up to 4 separate ticketing systems. - Troubleshoot assigned tickets using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) outlined at division level, to include weekly updates of trouble tickets. - Install desktop software, provide desktop support at the customer's location as required, such as adding workstations to the domain, troubleshooting hardware issues, installing drivers; desktop support includes Windows and Red Hat Linux workstations and mobile computing. - Coord...
